On 25 acres of waterfront parkland in downtown Kelowna (Canada), the Grand Okanagan Lakefront Resort overlooks Okanagan Lake. The hotel juts against a scenic boardwalk, from which guests stand a fighting chance to see Ogopogo, the Okanagan's elusive lake monster. Just a few blocks from the resort complex, a fascinating vehicle bridge floats atop the water, spanning the lake at its narrowest point. The resort is close to several golf courses and one hour from ski resorts. Winery touring is another popular activity in the fertile Okanagan Valley.
In two 10 story towers, the resort hotel includes a conference center, casino, health spa, two pools and a private marina offering water sport rentals. The hotel's elegant atrium and lobby features a dolphin shaped fountain and a mezzanine. The Grand Okanagan satisfies culinary tastes with five different dining venues or pubs, anchored by The Grand Bay Caf�, overlooking the lagoon and Waterfront Park. On the lakeside boardwalk Rose's Waterfront Pub gives guests the chance to unwind in a casual setting.
Rooms at the Grand Okanagan provide lakeside or mountain views. All rooms boast windows that open, permitting summer mountain breezes to permeate the room at a guest's discretion.
