Location. Tucked between the beach and the Intracoastal Waterway, the Fort Lauderdale Oceanfront Hotel offers a convenient location and an array of beachside amenities. One mile from downtown, the hotel is three blocks from Beach Place, a shopping, dining and nightlife complex. Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport is 4.5 miles from the property.
Hotel Features. Rising 12 stories above the beach, the Oceanfront features a white and turquoise trimmed fa�ade. An island like atmosphere permeates this property. Blossoming bushes festoon the second floor pool deck and bright public spaces such as the lobby boast large windows and potted palms. Leisure guests will revel in the outdoor, umbrella flanked pool area and its accompanying tiki bar. Guests can enjoy tropical drinks here while overlooking the ocean. At Juan Alfredo's Caf�, casual fare, such as sandwiches and pizza, is available. If business is on the agenda, however, the hotel can accommodate with its 10,000 square feet of penthouse conference space. Other hotel amenities include a fitness center and wireless Internet access for a nominal fee.
Guestrooms. With floor to ceiling windows and cream colored walls, guestrooms are airy and maintain a tropical air. Floral fabrics, pastel prints and light wood furnishings complement the look.
Expert Tip. A public water bus transports passengers around Fort Lauderdale's waterways and stops at a marina across from the hotel. The water bus stops at 19 other locations, including restaurants and shopping centers, and runs on a schedule that is available at the front desk. Ticket options include a bargain price all day fare.

Exit airport to US 1 North. Take US 1 North (Federal Highway) to southeast 17th Street and make a right. Drive east on southeast 17th Street over the bridge, passing the Intracoastal Waterway. Follow the curves of the road and southeast 17th Street which becomes route A1A. Make a left at Las Olas Boulevard. Go to Seabreeze Boulevard and make another left. The hotel is located on the left hand side. Distance from airport is 7 miles.
